Rob Rosen – Chief Executive Officer
Rob joined NAI in 2008 as CEO. He has many years of previous experience in managing manufacturing operations, including positions in general management, strategy and business development, operations, supply chain, engineering, sales and marketing. He also has over 12 years experience in investing in/acquiring manufacturing businesses and working with them to build their internal capabilities, become more customer-focused, and grow. At NAI, Rob focuses on enhancing the Company’s internal capabilities, on developing processes that reflect the Company’s stronger focus on its customers’ evolving needs, on building long-term relationships with customers and on guiding the Company’s continuing growth.
George Wheelwright – Sales Manager
George has worked in the hoist and crane industry for over 28 years and has been with North American Industries for over 19 years. During that time, he has served as a sales engineer, senior applications engineer, and he has led the sales team as Sales Manager for the last five years. Over this time period, George has worked on thousands of projects in industries as diverse as salt mining, aerospace, molten metal, military, energy and bridge repair. He has particular expertise in unique applications and unusual needs. Examples of George’s work include designing and selling systems for explosion-proof applications on the Northern Slope of Alaska, the handling of satellite systems for the U.S. Air Force, lockgates for hydroelectric power plants, petroleum applications in Arabia, Tanzania and Nigeria and the handling of scientific lab modules for the space shuttle.
Dan Osborn – Engineering Manager
Dan has over 17 years engineering experience in the material handling field and has spent the last 8 years in the crane industry. Since arriving at NAI, Dan has designed crane systems with unique applications such as special runway attachment systems, rotating trolleys and offset endtruck orientations. Prior to joining NAI, Dan engineered hundreds of material handling systems, including a project valued at over $13 million for a major truck manufacturer. That project’s scope included designing fully-automated sand handling and mold handling systems spanning four adjacent buildings for the truck manufacturer’s in-house foundry.
John Kelley – Chief Operating Officer
John joined NAI six years ago as head of the Company’s finance organization. Since that time, his responsibilities have expanded to include supply chain, operations and technical field services. Prior to NAI, John was CFO at Carbone Metal, a manufacturer of custom industrial and commercial equipment. While at Carbone, John’s responsibilities grew to include operations, inventory and transportation management. Earlier in his career, John was CFO at Thypin Steel, a value added distributor of stainless steel.
Bernadette Groves-Wright – Director of Aftermarket Parts and Services
Bernadette has worked at NAI for 13 years and has been head of its aftermarket sales group for the past six years. She has also held the position of customer service manager and worked in installation management, inspection program set-up, logistics, purchasing, and parts sales. She also served as project manager of a $5 million crane manufacture and installation project. Prior to joining NAI, Bernadette was the international director of customer services for a manufacturer of environmental controls. In that role, she served as an executive board member and was responsible for ISO9000 internal audits. She also successfully negotiated government service contracts, led a company-wide ERP implementation project and managed engineers, installers and inspectors.
Joanne Karlinski – Senior Project Manager
Joanne came to NAI four years ago after 26 years experience with several manufacturing companies. Since joining NAI, Joanne has held positions in sales and customer service. She was charged in 2008 with launching the Company’s project management group to focus more directly on the needs of larger, project-managed jobs. Prior to joining NAI, Joanne worked in field sales in both large ISO 9000 multi facility manufacturing environments and smaller, hands-on job shop environments.
John Silva – Director of Technical Field Services
John has been with NAI for over five years and manages the Company’s installations and technical field services. Before serving in this role, John was responsible for production control and project management. Prior to joining NAI, John gained twenty years of experience in quoting and negotiating government contracts, purchasing, vendor development, production control, internal ISO audit and technical services for three technical products manufacturers. |
