Installation Services

Overview

We are committed to performing quick, efficient, safe and unobtrusive installation services.  Our goal for each project is to cause as little disruption and inconvenience to your operations as possible.  We continually invest in state-of-the-art tools, such as laser alignment instrumentation, custom-built rail jigs and adjustable runway tie-backs, to achieve that goal.  We have installed our cranes in all 50 states and in over 50 countries around the world, but we treat each project as if it was our most important one.

We recognize that each customer has different needs, and we offer several options intended to appeal to a range of these needs and budgets:

Turnkey Installation

NAI's field technicians handle all aspects of the installation, from equipment rental to on-site labor.  This is typically the fastest option, and our field technicians are skilled at working around your operations to minimize disruptions.  Our field technicians typically work 12-hour days, seven days per week until the job is complete.

Labor-Only Installation

If you can provide equipment (such as welding apparatus, lifting equipment and scissors lifts) to NAI as needed during the installation process, NAI can offer you more attractive pricing.  Our field technicians do all the work, and you save money.

Local Labor Installation

NAI provides a working supervisor and all the specialized tools and equipment needed for the installation. The NAI field supervisor works alongside your employees (or qualified local labor that you provide), directing them as his helpers to install the crane system.  NAI takes complete charge of the process to ensure a successful installation.  Your employees learn a great deal about crane operation and maintenance during this process and are typically better able to maintain the equipment properly as a result.

Working Supervisor Installation

NAI provides a working supervisor, while you provide local labor and all equipment (such as welding apparatus, forklifts, man-lifts and scaffolding) required for the installation.  This is the most economical option and is intended to appeal to customers who are on a highly-restricted budget.

Start-up Services

If you choose to install the crane system without NAI's assistance, we offer an optional start-up service.  With this option, one of our field technicians will come to your site after the installation is complete to review the installation work and to build your confidence that the crane system will operate safely, reliably and in compliance with all federal requirements and crane industry guidelines.

Load Testing and Training

In most cases, NAI completes the installation process by:

  NAI Field Technicians

We are proud of our field technicians, and with good reason;they are well-trained, experienced and exceptionally adept at performing their work safely and with minimal disruption to your operations.

During your installation, they will assess the knowledge and skill of your operators and maintenance crew, and they will adjust their on-site training to meet your staff at their level.

The opposite of a ‘canned’ solution, NAI’s installation services are geared to provide your staff with the knowledge and skills they will need to operate and maintain your crane system safely and efficiently for years of trouble-free ownership.
