Entry-level Electrical Engineer

Job Description

In this position, this Engineer will perform the following duties:

• Create electrical schematics using AutoCAD
• Create panel layouts
• Create interconnection diagrams
• Work with Production and Cost Accounting to ensure real-time Bill-Of-Material creation and corrections
• Create/modify electrical sizing programs using Microsoft Excel
• Provide technical support and guidance to the production and installation departments to resolve design issues
• Update existing drawings as required to new product specifications
• Assist Engineering in the product design for assembly and/or manufacturability of new product
• Assist with Lean implementations and make recommendations to improve assembly operations
• Some minor PLC programming is also required

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or institute
• 2-5 years related experience (recommended)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work in the United States
